LATEST - Postponement of Event

Greetings to all participants and presenters.

It is with a heavy heart that the organizing committee is announcing yet another postponement of ICLEHI 18 2020 .

Due to the recent stricter control of movement placed by the Malaysian government on Kuala Lumpur city and its surrounding areas, we find that proceeding with the event as planned is no longer a viable option.

Although the online portion of the event will be largely unaffected, the numbers of online participation is too small to make it a worthwhile endeavour for participants.

As such, we would to officially inform everyone that the event will now be moved a future date which will be announced later.

We sincerely apologize for having to postpone this event yet again. A new date will be announced via this website soon. Please contact our secretariat at [email protected] if you have any questions or requests.

Event Postponement to 24 October 2020

18th ICLEHI 2020 is now a hybrid (online/physical) event!

The on-going global COVID-19 pandemic has drastically changed the way people live and work globally. As conference organizers, we have been greatly affected by travel restrictions and health measures enforced by various governments around the world.

ICSAI.org is now adapting and rising up to the challenge by converting all of our upcoming events into hybrid events where participants can choose between attending physically or present virtually from the comfort of their homes or workplaces.

As our inaugural hybrid event, the event’s organizing committee is pleased to announce special participation rates for all existing and new participants effective now.

UPDATE: Change of Event Dates

After consultations with various authorities and stakeholders, the organizing committee would like to announce the postponement of the 18th International Conference on Language, Education, Humanities, and Innovation (ICLEHI) to 18-19 September 2020.

We were forced to make this decision after weighing all the potential health risks participants could be exposed to due to the Covid-19 outbreak if the event were to proceed as earlier planned. The committee also took into consideration the various travel restrictions already placed on many travelers as well as in anticipation of further restrictions that could be placed should the situation become worse.

The event venue i.e. Courtyard Marriott Seoul Namdaemun remains the same. All presenters and participants shall be provided with new invitation letters reflecting this change.

Please see our Important Dates page for the new deadlines associated with this change.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused. Please direct any questions to our secretariat at [email protected].
