Traveling to London from Abroad
Although foreign nationals may enter the UK via any of the various airports and seaports across the country, the most direct way to get to London is to fly commercially to one of the airports below:
-
- Heathrow (LHR)
- Gatwick (LGW)
- Luton (LTN)
- Stansted (STN)
- London City (LCY)
All of the above airports are connected to London’s public transportation network and are easily accessible from the conference venue.
Immigration
Conferences attendees fall under the Standard Visitor Visa category according to the current UK immigration law. Please check with your local British Embassy on specific requirements affecting citizens of your country before making any travel arrangements.
You may also visit the UK Visas and Immigration website where you can find detailed information about the UK visa application process. The website also comes with an online tool that will assist you in determining whether or not a visa is required to enter the country.
