Associate Professor Dr. Darshana Sedera leads the Enterprise Systems study group at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane Australia.

He received his Ph.D. from QUT in 2007 and he has over 100 peer reviewed publications to his credit on topics related to Innovation, Enterprise Systems, Knowledge Management, Supply Chain Management. His publications appeared in several journals, including the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information and Management, CAIS,  The Australasian Journal of IS, and the Journal of IT Case Studies. His 2010 publication at the Journal of Strategic Information Systems is one of the top-15 most downloaded papers from Elsevier Publications.

He also heads the SAP University Academy at QUT, which frequently engages in practitioner training on Enterprise Systems. In 2015, he introduced the first industry sponsored subject at QUT, partnering with Fujitsu Australia to introduce a cutting edge CRM course.
