Professor Dr. Siti Aishah is currently the Deputy Vice President of Open University Malaysia (OUM). She began her academic career in the field of Mathematics obtaining her MSc at the University of Miami, USA and subsequently her PhD at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. She has served in various academic and administrative posts in local and international institutions including the University of Miami, Universiti Teknologi Mara and University of Malaya. She is an active researcher and regularly publishes academic research in the fields of Applied Mathematics and Open/Distance Learning.
